On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, World Digital Detox Day (WDDD), an initiative of ZEP Foundation, in collaboration with MYBharat, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, organised a PPT Presentation Competition to encourage young people to think critically about their relationship with technology.
The competition invited students to explore important contemporary themes including the dark side of social media, Digital Detox and Digital Fasting—creating a space for young voices to examine how technology influences attention, wellbeing, relationships and everyday life.
The presentations demonstrated that digital wellbeing is not about rejecting technology. WDDD advocates for balance: using technology meaningfully while protecting time for human connection, wellbeing, reflection and real-world experiences.

Through initiatives such as this competition, WDDD continues to create platforms where youth participation, digital awareness and responsible technology use come together.
